margin: 10px 10px 10px 0;\">\n<script type=\"text\/javascript\"><!--\r\ngoogle_ad_client = \"ca-pub-6725039255769208\";\r\n\/* Reno Hotels Leaderboard *\/\r\ngoogle_ad_slot = \"0584775893\";\r\ngoogle_ad_width = 728;\r\ngoogle_ad_height = 90;\r\n\/\/-->\r\n<\/script>\r\n<script type=\"text\/javascript\"\r\nsrc=\"http:\/\/pagead2.googlesyndication.com\/pagead\/show_ads.js\">\r\n<\/script>\n<\/div>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/sftodo.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/03\/oskar.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-1313\" title=\"Eco-Friendly Transportation\" src=\"http:\/\/sftodo.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/03\/oskar.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" srcset=\"https:\/\/sftodo.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/03\/oskar.jpg 640w, https:\/\/sftodo.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/03\/oskar-300x225.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 640px) 100vw, 640px\" \/><\/a>San Francisco\u2019s Fisherman\u2019s Wharf area is a destination for a large majority of visitors, and many take advantage of the historic streetcar service along the Embarcadero.\u00a0 The distance is enough for a very vigorous walk, but the streetcar is much more convenient.\u00a0 Increasingly however, visitors find that the Muni public streetcars to *leave* Fisherman\u2019s Wharf are consistently overfilled and with very long lines.\u00a0 We\u2019ve seen this personally and had similar feedback from many other San Francisco visitors.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The good news is that there is a fun way to get from the Wharf (or any San Francisco destination) along the Embarcadero, including AT&#038;T Park for Giants baseball!\u00a0\u00a0 Pedicabs are \u201chuman-powered\u201d carts that take you around the City at rates that are generally similar to a taxicab.\u00a0 The difference is that you get fresh air, some useful advice about the City, and help out someone to stay in shape and make some extra money.\u00a0 It\u2019s a unique and fun way to see the City, and particularly convenient along the Embarcadero\u2019s stretch from Fisherman\u2019s Wharf to the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.sftodo.com\/ferry-building.html\">Ferry Building<\/a> and on to the San Francisco Giants&#8217;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.sftodo.com\/sanfranciscogiants.html\"> AT&amp;T Park<\/a>.<a href=\"http:\/\/sftodo.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/03\/tasha.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-full wp-image-1312\" title=\"Pedicab Power\" src=\"http:\/\/sftodo.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/03\/tasha.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"343\" height=\"298\" srcset=\"https:\/\/sftodo.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/03\/tasha.jpg 343w, https:\/\/sftodo.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/03\/tasha-300x260.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 343px) 100vw, 343px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Pedicabs can also offer tours, and provide friendly information on San Francisco, while enjoying an eco-friendly ride.\u00a0 The typical cost to go from <a href=\"http:\/\/www.sftodo.com\/fish.html\">Fisherman\u2019s Wharf<\/a> to Embarcadero Center is approximately $20 for 2 adults.\u00a0 The maximum a pedicab can safely carry is two adults and two children.\u00a0 After that, you need a 2<sup>nd<\/sup> pedicab.\u00a0 Typical areas for the pedicabs are along the Embarcadero \u2013 and you can also ride to most major hotels throughout Union Square, Chinatown, and around the City.<\/p>\n<p>One of the cooler companies to try out (all pedicabs are not the same) is Golden Gate Pedicabs.\u00a0 Look for them around the Ferry Buiding and Wharf or better yet, pre-reserve a ride so you won\u2019t have to wait at 415-777-6999.<\/p>\n<!--CusAds0-->\n<div style=\"font-size: 0px;
